About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Neurovascular Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our neurovascular care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of providing whole-person care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with neurovascular conditions, including stroke and cerebral aneurysm patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and perform procedures as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in neurovascular care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
