Military and Family Life Counselor

Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) team to support service members and their families near Everett, WA.
This unique opportunity allows you to provide non-medical support, including counseling, consultation, and outreach, to military personnel, their spouses, and eligible staff. As an Adult-MFLC, you will offer solution-focused approaches to address the emotional and environmental challenges faced by service members due to the stress of military life.
Responsibilities- Counsel military service members and their families through face-to-face sessions.
- Engage in activities with service members and their families; provide coaching, guidance, and support to installation staff.
- Offer presentations at military-connected events.
- Promote positivity and creativity through approved materials.
- Build rapport with parents and families by attending installation and community events.
- Assist with transition adjustments, such as new schools and homes.
- Participate in regular in-service training or other contract activities as assigned.
- No insurance claims required.
- No progress notes or treatment plans needed.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Master's degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
- Licensure to practice at the independent practice level (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist) in any US State.
- US citizenship and an active passport valid for six months beyond the assignment end date.
- The ability to pass a basic background check and Public Trust clearance.
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $55,250 to $99,875, depending on qualifications and experience. The actual compensation offered may vary based on internal equity, market data, and other factors.
