As the Sales Director at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, you will lead key sales functions to drive sales force productivity across multiple manufacturing plants, products, and organizations. Your oversight will span across the region, ensuring the company leverages all assets to win and achieve market leadership.

This leadership role is highly collaborative, focusing on fostering efficient coordination between sales, account management, and sales support teams. You will direct planning activities with other business functions and stakeholders, building strong internal business relationships to enhance sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the OBE vision, strategy, and Commercial Excellence framework within daily and strategic business activities
  • Create strong relationships with key stakeholders at senior and mid-management levels across multiple plants and organizations
  • Work closely with colleagues on cross-region and business opportunities
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price
  • Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, and onboarding employees
  • Develop a high-performing team through effective goal-setting, evaluation, training, feedback, and coaching
  • Work with Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Plant GMs, Operations, and other critical functional teams to implement targeted sales strategies
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Interface with technical support to resolve issues impacting partners
  • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams and foster a culture of continuous process improvement
  • Ensure reports and internal intelligence are provided to the sales and marketing organization
  • Analyze Sales Cloud CRM pipeline and MicroStrategy analytics, delivering periodic reporting to the sales and marketing teams

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed for Success

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, plus 5+ years of progressive management experience in business, finance, sales, and/or operations
  • Experience in building products and manufacturing; building façade/curtain wall projects and glass or construction industry is a plus
  • Strong relationships and communication skills
  • Travel requirements 40%+
  • Effective communicator with logical, organized verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Microsoft Office 360, SAP, CRM, and business analytics working knowledge
