Urban Air Adventure Parks is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Attractions Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions, ensuring they are in superior working order.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting of issues, and maintenance of attractions.
- Documentation and Inventory: Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a neat and orderly work area and back end.
- Tool and Machinery Management: Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machinery.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staff adheres to all safety rules.
- Communication: Advise supervisors on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts and regular attendance is a requirement for the role.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required. Basic working knowledge of hand tools and general knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Physical Demands: Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions. Move about facility and stand for long periods of time (over 2/3 of the time). Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling. Requires ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs. (70+ pounds with the assistance of a dolly).
