About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems of Conventional and Automatic Casting Machines, Robots, and CNC Automated Machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on production equipment.
  • Develop and carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
  • Carry out electrical installations such as machine connections, lighting fixtures, and socket installations.
  • Independently carry out modifications and extensions on plant and machinery and draw up switching plans for documentation purposes.
  • Inspect installations according to applicable equipment inspection regulations and accident prevention regulations at specified inspection intervals.
  • Procure spare parts from the Tool Crib or warehouse and take account of requirements of inventory control and materials management.
  • Identify Environmental Aspects for the department and support Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement, and communication.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Technical Training (2 years) or BS Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Diverse specialist training courses in Machining Technology.
  • Knowledge of multiple control systems (e.g. PLC controls, Siemens).
  • Ability to gain knowledge of programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Kuka and applicable Robots, Die Casting Machines.
