Job Description

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Manager will lead and manage the development, maintenance, and reporting of the Master Schedule for the Capital Improvement Program, as defined in the Program Procedures Manual. This role will work closely with the Program Controls Manager to ensure the successful execution of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Master Program Schedule (MPS) in Primavera P6, including resource loading and leveling at the program level, particularly cost loading.
  • Establish baseline schedules and manage the baseline schedule change management process.
  • Coordinate with project managers, design consultants, and construction contractors to incorporate project information into the MPS.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on project milestones and progress.
  • Support the Program Controls Manager in obtaining, reviewing, and updating project cost loading in the MPS.
  • Manage the CIP Program's Baseline schedule and budget change process.
  • Assist in the production of program monthly progress reports and ad-hoc reports.
  • Develop program-level procedures for Project Controls functions, including periodic review and updates of PPM11.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide backup support for SharePoint administration tasks, including creating new user accounts, project sites, and managing staff access and workflow user groups.
  • Assist in the transition to a new PMIS (Kahua) system, including data transfers from SharePoint and defining required workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant schedule management experience on capital programs of at least $200MM.
  • 3 years of document control experience supporting engineering or construction projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling.
  • 1 year of experience in SharePoint.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and coordination skills.

Equipment/Software Requirements:

  • Primavera P6 expertise required.
  • Kahua experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Access.
