Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geologist/Environmental Engineer to join our team in Middle Tennessee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, conducting scientific research, collecting and analyzing data, and providing sustainable solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental assessments and investigations to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Collect and analyze data from soil, groundwater, and soil vapor samples to inform environmental decisions
• Develop and implement air emissions compliance plans to ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage hazardous waste and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed
• Utilize GIS and 3D mapping technologies to visualize and analyze environmental data
• Lead remediation projects in the field and manage subcontractors as needed
• Assist with project management duties and provide technical support to clients

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Geology or Environmental Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in team settings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to clients and stakeholders
• Adept at learning new software applications and technologies to support project management and technical analysis
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards, with the ability to stay up-to-date on changing regulations and guidelines
