Clinical Healthcare Associate - LPN

**Job Summary**

The Cincinnati Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Clinical Healthcare Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our students with disabilities or physical impairments.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide direct patient care demonstrating skills matching patient needs
  • Plans and provides care based on daily assessment of the patient, Individual Education Plan (IEP), Individualized Health Plan (IHP) and/or physician's orders
  • Promotes optimal patient wellness by assisting the patient to adapt to their illness or wellness state
  • Reports significant findings and changes in patient status to appropriate personnel
  • Documents and maintains clinical records in accordance with school district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations

**Requirements**

  • State Certification to practice as evidenced by current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
  • Documented evidence of a minimum of 12 months experience working with children in an educational or other pediatric practice setting

**Employment Terms**

Starting Salary Range: $25.72 per hour

Service Period: School year only, 7 hours per day
