Position Overview

We are seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to enhance our dynamic legal team within the Employment department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background and a passion for advancing civil rights law. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with supervising attorneys on initial case assessments

  • Draft legal complaints with accuracy and detail
  • Manage discovery processes by preparing and responding to inquiries
  • Conduct depositions with confidence and skill
  • Perform comprehensive investigations related to cases
  • Contribute to legal motions and filings
  • Assist in preparing for trials


Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law
  • Experience in employment litigation
  • Strong skills in legal research and motion drafting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar
