Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of infants and toddlers in our Early Head Start Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans for a classroom of 8 infants and toddlers.
  • Work alongside a co-teacher and receive support from an aide to ensure the best possible care for our students.
  • Collaborate with a Family Advocate to provide support for students and families.
  • Participate in curriculum support and coaching from education coaches.
  • Utilize LENA technology to enhance language development in infants and toddlers.
  • Document observations and track student progress using Teaching Strategies Gold and Creative Curriculum.
Requirements
  • CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education (Required)
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Psychology (Preferred)
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.
