We are seeking a skilled Wax Repair Technician to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. in Tilton, NH.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and repairing wax molds that will later become complex aluminum parts for our customers.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to improve workplace safety.
  • Achieve team production and efficiency goals by meeting operational and quality standards.
  • Work from sample gated assemblies or photographs to perform various operations and gate simple assemblies.
  • Operate wax extruding, base making injection machines, and perform hand base making tasks as required.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report unusual conditions to supervision.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but manufacturing experience may be substituted.
  • One year of manufacturing experience is preferred, with previous experience in the casting industry a plus.
  • Ability to bring your best self every day to safely meet or exceed production and quality standards.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment where business and team needs may change to meet business and customer demands.
  • Understanding of basic math calculations and ability to use precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to perform duties in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Security Clearance

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations.
