We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all production activities are performed in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Supervise production activities and ensure that processes are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Management: Select, manage, train, and develop staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Coordination and Communication: Interact with production, quality control, and process engineering departments to coordinate and resolve production-related issues.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production reports and review log history reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure that all team members follow QMS regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Security and Compliance: Understand relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles and adhere to applicable regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Attendance and Reliability: Ensure regular, reliable attendance onsite and perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma with 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Solid problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills; strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; knowledge and understanding of FDA QSRs and ISO standards preferred.
- Work Environment: General office, laboratory, and cleanroom environments.
- Physical Demands: Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens; requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds; frequent standing, walking, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms; and use of a computer for extended periods.
- Vision Requirements: Ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
The starting base salary is $71,130/year - $90,809/year plus differential. Individual compensation will vary over time based on factors such as performance, skill level, competencies, work location, and shift.
