Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the upcoming school year. This is an exceptional opportunity for an OT who is eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by promoting their success and well-being within a supportive school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' skills to determine their needs and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to integrate occupational therapy recommendations into daily routines and educational plans.
  • Provide guidance and education to school staff and families to support the implementation of occupational therapy strategies at school and home.
  • Adapt classroom environments to promote learning for all students.
  • Assist children with disabilities in developing essential skills for everyday life and full participation in school and social situations.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of students' therapy progress, outcomes, and interventions.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state OT license (or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
