Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment and related job problems to provide accurate diagnoses and solutions.
  • Present findings and options to customers, providing advice as needed and requested.
  • Complete approved repairs, improvements, or installations within industry-standard hours per repair pricing guide.
  • Clean equipment and work areas to ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion.
  • Complete all paperwork required by management, including documentation of work performed and customer interactions.
  • Collect payment or signatures for work completed, as required.
  • Maintain truck inventory and ensure the assigned service vehicle is organized and clean.
  • Track vehicle maintenance and alert management when maintenance is necessary.
  • Contact the office following the completion of each call to provide requested information and receive dispatch instructions for the next call.
  • Provide customers with information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvements.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements.
Requirements
  • EPA certification is preferred.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 50LBS capacity.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record, as required by the company insurance carrier(s).
  • Ability to drive, walk, go up and down stairs, bend, reach, and crawl in small places.
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide repairs, or service, or installations with the quality of excellence required by Total Appliance technician level.
  • Two or more years of experience in the direct position applied.
  • Ability to follow company processes, instructions, directions, policies, and procedures.
  • Standard technician tools required.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Performance Metrics
  • Assignments or calls per day, experience, disposition, and teamwork, including regards for our organization.
  • Meeting or beating industry time standards for assigned work by following company processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Accuracy of paperwork and reporting, including collection of documents, signatures, or payments for work performed.
  • Callbacks resulting from misdiagnosis or poor workmanship, "GO-BACKS".
  • Complete truck inventory, truck maintenance, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Company tool maintenance and condition.
  • Generated leads for the Company.
  • Attendance.
