Position Summary:
The Interim Accounts Payable Specialist will oversee the accounts payable functions, ensuring precise and prompt processing of invoices and payments. This role requires collaboration with various departments and vendors to maintain effective accounts payable operations.
Key Duties:
- Manage and execute accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Leverage SAP software for AP functions, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Review and authorize invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and vendor agreements.
- Address discrepancies and manage vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Keep accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable transactions.

- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable with a solid background in SAP software.
- Experience in the energy sector is preferred.
