Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Schreiber Foods is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of assigned processing equipment to meet production demands, minimize product shrink, and maintain product quality requirements.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of production schedules and be able to adjust as needed to avoid downtime on the production floor. They will also be responsible for planning and scheduling fluid transfers and raw lines CIP with Filler Operators and Blenders, maintaining and cleaning equipment, parts, tools, utensils, and work area, and ensuring good housekeeping and 5S standards are met.
In addition, they will accurately complete all necessary documentation, including batch record entries, cleaning forms, room logs, and work orders. The candidate must consistently meet production needs and goals, making efforts to minimize product shrink and downtime. They will conduct basic troubleshooting of blending equipment and processes, contacting maintenance as needed, actively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings, and identify Critical Control Points (CCP).
Additional Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. They will also be required to work with dairy and nut products, as well as other related ingredients and allergens. Safety Protocol includes stopping any observed unsafe acts, obeying facility safety rules and procedures, correcting or reporting any observed safety hazards, and supporting safety policies and programs.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum one (1) year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of products and the dairy industry is also desirable. Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified and obtain Better Process Control School Certification post-hire are essential.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines. They should also demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with management and colleagues. Basic math skills, fractions, decimals, and percentages are necessary, along with basic computer operational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment are also required.

Schreiber Foods offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
