Job Summary
MaineHealth Waldo Hospital is seeking a board certified/eligible Pediatrician to join our team in Belfast, Maine. This exciting opportunity allows you to work in a newer practice serving our Coastal Maine communities. The call is 1:4, shared with a private practice physician, and includes newborn nursery rounding, attendance at deliveries, and care of a small volume of low acuity inpatients. A nurse triage service is utilized to screen and manage phone calls. You will have the opportunity to work in a very collegial atmosphere at our NEW Coastal Maine Pediatric Practice as well as tap into Pediatric colleagues at our neighboring sister-hospital, Pen Bay Medical Center.

This position offers:

Requirements
* MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
* Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
* NRP certification required and PALS highly recommended.
* Prior experience with nursery call and inpatient pediatrics preferred.
