Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Osceola Mills, PA area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in empowering students with diverse communication needs by providing exceptional services in a supportive school environment.

This full-time position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students by offering comprehensive speech and language services tailored to their specific needs. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to create a stimulating and supportive environment where students can build their speech and language skills with confidence, fostering a strong foundation for future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students to identify a variety of communication needs, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays and disorders, social communication challenges, and written language difficulties.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to address students' individualized communication goals.
  • Provide individual and small group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of students, utilizing evidence-based practices and incorporating assistive technology as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective communication strategies for supporting students in the classroom and school environment, ensuring a smooth transition to further education or the workforce.
  • Consult with other professionals involved in student support services to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting students' needs.
  • Monitor student progress, analyze data, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions to ensure continuous improvement in communication skills.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the specific student population you will be serving.

Qualifications:

  • Pennsylvania State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Prior experience working with students in a school setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child and/or adolescent development and speech and language development specific to the student population you will be serving.
  • Expertise in conducting speech and language evaluations for students, developing individualized therapy plans, and utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to this age group.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other school staff.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and maintaining student confidentiality.
  • A passion for promoting communication development and advocating for students with diverse communication needs.
