Job Summary

Constellis is seeking a highly skilled Watch Officer to join our team of intelligence and security professionals. As a Watch Officer, you will play a critical role in detecting and preventing acts of violence against members and the institution of the United States Congress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide all-source intelligence support, reporting, and guidance to a diverse group of government and contract personnel.
  • Work with fellow Assistant Watch Officers and other professionals to ensure proper handling of priority intelligence requirements, knowledge and understanding of protective intelligence, threats, and inappropriate communications.
  • Conduct complex analysis and devise procedural and technical improvements to increase efficiency and decrease risk to members and the institution of Congress.
  • Perform complex analysis of policies and guidance related to Watch operations and identify and make recommendations as they relate to operational issues.
  • Understand, explain, and direct others to execute Intelligence Indications & Warnings Watch's standard operating procedures to perform complex preliminary analysis, administrative reporting, and database checks.
  • Draft intelligence summaries in response to standing Organization's intelligence requirements by compiling all-source intelligence and relevant operational and incident reporting.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service.
  • Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.
  • Must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A graduate-level degree is preferred.
  • Possess at least an active Secret security clearance.
  • Three (3) years of specialized experience performing duties such as: experience applying analytical concepts and methodologies to execute Intelligence Indications & Warnings Watch standard operating procedures, coordinating intelligence gathering/analytical concepts, and collecting, recording, and analyzing data/information to conduct intelligence and Organization's database checks.

Working Conditions

The work environment is exclusively office based. You may be required to perform work on a shift and rotational basis. You must be readily available to work overtime on a scheduled or unscheduled basis in excess of the 40-hour work week.

Physical Requirements

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
