Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in midstream facilities and pipeline operations to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze mechanical datasheets and piping specifications to ensure compliance with client standards and expectations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineering contractors, and fabrication vendors to facilitate project success.
  • Work closely with project teams to guarantee that mechanical capabilities, safety, and environmental standards align with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary resource for project-specific piping and mechanical standards, equipment specifications, and spare parts strategy.
  • Ensure that all designs adhere to internal quality standards.
  • Engage with engineering contractors on piping design and facility layout.
  • Provide expert guidance on specifications for rotating and fixed equipment, including design reviews and vendor selections throughout the procurement process.
  • Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), model reviews, and mechanical evaluations during the project lifecycle.
  • Align mechanical scope with site reliability and maintenance practices.
  • Lead mechanical inspection initiatives and act as the main point of contact for both in-house and contract inspectors.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience collaborating with design teams.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in midstream facilities.
  • At least 5 years of experience with pipelines in the United States.
  • Expertise in mechanical engineering within chemical, petrochemical, or refinery projects.
  • Familiarity with pumps, valves, traps, strainers, piping, and relevant codes and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer licensure is preferred.
