  • Data Modeling and Governance: Maintain repositories for data models, including entities, relationships, attributes, information flows, and business glossary.
  • Process Management: Follow data modeling processes, including prioritization, validation, and publication of modeling artifacts.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and measure key indicators to ensure data models consistently deliver value.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects, assignments, and priorities simultaneously, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience (or 12+ years in IT or Business).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT or business analysis with demonstrated acumen in manufacturing, sales, or financial verticals.
  • Skills: Experience with data governance, data management, and establishing data standards and processes.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to understand complex business relationships and interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience mentoring others in data modeling and data mapping.
  • Technical Skills: Exposure to API design, relational, dimensional, or semantic data modeling practices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present and train others.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and systems/process orientation.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage change, develop collaborative solutions, and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated initiative to learn new technologies quickly and facilitate meetings with actionable outcomes.
