Key Responsibilities

  • Administers therapeutic treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Assists in discharge planning by providing essential patient and family education, follow-up care, and referrals to community resources.
  • Participates in initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.
  • Contributes to the training and development of staff and students, including evaluating daily workloads.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of interventions and care in the patient's medical records.
  • Achieves assigned performance goals.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum: Entry Level.

Licensure and Certification

Minimum: PTA; BLS Certification required within 14 days of hire.

Special Skills

Minimum: Proficient in basic computer skills, including keyboarding and navigating software applications.
