We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective patient care, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans.
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
- Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel.
- Ensure patient medical records contain necessary information.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Completion of the Organization IV Education & Training Program.
- 1 year of directly related experience.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days.
- Licensed Practical Nurse in NM or reciprocal agreement.
This position requires heavy work, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
The working conditions include exposure to chemicals, biohazardous materials, and limited access to the medication room.
