POSITION: ROOM ATTENDANT

PAY RATE:
  • $17.97 to $19.72 per hour, depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Understanding of general cleaning principles, safe usage of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Physical strength and dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform all required cleaning tasks.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance to positively represent the hotel.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness to uphold room cleanliness standards.
  • Time management skills to meet productivity expectations.
  • Effective communication with guests and colleagues to accurately exchange information.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Dependability and consistency in meeting attendance requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Preferred six months of previous housekeeping or related experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work: Involves exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

This position requires the ability to maintain mobility for up to 8 hours and engage in physical activities that necessitate considerable use of arms and legs; operation of vacuums weighing up to 25 lbs., lifting and moving heavy furniture, partially lifting mattresses weighing up to 155 lbs., and pushing a housekeeping cart weighing up to 175 lbs.

Must be capable of walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, carrying, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, and seeing.
