We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team at Aurora Ventures as an intern in our Open Social Services department.

The Open Social Services team at Aurora Ventures consists of 36 counseling services and volunteer projects, as well as 11 meeting places. Our team of 41 employees and over 300 volunteers work together to provide counseling, support, and concrete assistance, as well as educational and social activities.

We offer a minimum 22-week internship for students studying Social Work (B.A.) within our Open Social Services. As an intern, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in Schweinfurt and the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social counseling services to clients, including assistance with SGBII and SGB XII applications.
  • Assist clients with energy counseling for low-income households and food voucher counseling.
  • Support clients with grant applications and accompany them to authorities as needed.
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions independently and work with clients to develop personalized plans.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with asylum application counseling and provide orientation for daily life to refugees.
