Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to ensure efficient and safe maintenance activities.
- Certification Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities meet industry and regulatory certification requirements, adhering to all relevant standards and regulations.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development of maintenance budgets and monitor spending to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment histories, and maintenance schedules, and prepare reports as needed.
- Inventory Management: Manage and monitor inventory to support timely maintenance activities and ensure that necessary parts and services are available.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors to obtain necessary parts and services, and ensure that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures, conduct safety training, and participate in safety audits to ensure a safe working environment.
- Problem Solving: Address unexpected maintenance issues and emergencies promptly and efficiently, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Certification Maintenance: Stay updated with the latest maintenance technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to ensure that maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards.
- Certification: Must possess a relevant certification in maintenance coordination or management.
- Experience: Prior experience in maintenance coordination or management is highly desirable, with a strong background in HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency and understanding of maintenance processes, and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address maintenance challenges.
- Organizational Skills: Effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
This position requires physical tasks, such as walking, standing, and lifting, and completing maintenance activities.
