As a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of our client's team in California, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of mothers and newborns. Job Title: L&D Registered Nurse
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our client's team on a 13-week contract basis. As a key member of the nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, adhering to California guidelines and ensuring seamless interactions with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized patient care within established standards and policies.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Participating in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse and 2 years of overall RN experience.
- Prior experience with C-Sections is required.
- Travel experience is beneficial but not necessary.
- Current certifications (BLS, PALS, NRP, MAB, Fire Card) and active California RN License are mandatory.

Additional Information
This role requires a 36-hour workweek, typically comprising three 12-hour shifts. Please note that this position does not involve on-call duties or overnight shifts. For this position, scrub color is Navy Blue, and case types include Labor and Delivery and Level I Trauma. The credentialing process may take up to one month, and all necessary documents must be submitted two weeks prior to the start date. If your California RN License is expired or pending renewal, please expedite the application process.
