We are seeking a skilled Mini Episodes Editor to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for creating and editing episodes for our app DramaBox to support our growing team projects across the US and China. An ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in marketing creative teams or short video editing, with a strong understanding of social media platforms, mini series.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit mini episodes for the DramaBox app and create promotional ads
  • Review any flaws and provide feedback on rough-cut videos
  • Continuously improve video content based on feedback from the production team
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with teams across various time zones
  • Ensure timely and consistent communication
  • Ensure quality and consistency across projects in line with brand guidelines
  • Able and willing to work from our office in Los Angeles, CA, four days a week

Requirements:

  • Experience in mini episodes editing and proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Davinci (plus)
  • Ability to follow instructions and independently solve problems or work collaboratively to meet goals and deadlines while maintaining high quality
  • Must be detail-oriented and strive for perfection. Proficiency in Mandarin (verbal and written)
  • Strong creative thinker and proactive in seeking out new solutions to challenges
  • Must be familiar with social media platforms including but not limited to: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Able to pair music with storytelling
