Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team at UPMC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced post-surgical care unit.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Job
As a LPN on our team, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing elective surgeries. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating care with multiple disciplines to ensure seamless transitions for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide IV therapy and medication administration under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other licensed provider
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care using focused assessment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve desired patient outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- 0-2 years of experience in a med/surg/tele or Emergency Department setting
- Successful completion of an IV therapy curriculum within 4 months of hire/transfer
