Executive Director of Brewery Operations

A challenging and rewarding opportunity awaits an exceptional leader to join our team as Executive Director of Brewery Operations at Middleton Place, Hilton Head SC.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales and Revenue Growth: Oversee the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Leadership and Development: Plan menus and food utilization, based on the anticipated number of guests, nutritional value, palatability, popularity, and costs. Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service. Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, make hiring and termination decisions, and evaluate employee performance.
- Operations and Maintenance: Ensure compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance. Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. Record the number, type, and cost of items sold to determine which items may be unpopular or less profitable. Review menus and analyze recipes to determine labor and overhead costs, and assign prices to menu items.
- Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Maintain high levels of knowledge about menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Experience: Three or more years of front-of-the-house operations and/or experience as an assistant manager in the service or food and beverage industry.
- Certifications: ServSafe certified or contingent within three months from the date of hire.
- Skills: Excellent basic mathematical skills and fundamental accounting principles, including understanding P&Ls. Competency in Microsoft Office platform. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours). Stamina and availability to work 55 hours per week. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
