Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at PRIDE Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including MRI machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality images by adjusting equipment settings, using contrast agents, and applying other techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images, reports, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an MRI environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
