Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of all facilities, tools, and machinery.

You will ensure preventative maintenance is performed, contributing to a safe and sanitary environment for the plant and its surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be available for on-call duties as required.
  • Oversee the Maintenance Technician I team members.
  • Evaluate maintenance and repair issues, ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
  • Conduct minor plumbing and electrical repairs to maintain production efficiency.
  • Familiarize yourself with the setup, operation, adjustments, and parameters of production machinery.
  • Establish effective communication with machine operators, department supervisors, and management.
  • Restore production equipment to optimal operating conditions and enhance the work order system.
  • Repair equipment promptly to minimize production downtime.
  • Perform painting and maintenance tasks as necessary.
  • Assist with new installation projects and conduct walk-throughs to identify potential issues.
  • Address any unsafe conditions immediately, prioritizing safety.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training.

Preferred:
- Prior experience operating forklifts
- Forklift certification

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $17.50.
