Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology Clinic team at the University of Washington. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and establish treatment protocols as needed
  • Document patient findings, reports, and plans of care in the medical record
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of new trends in nursing or medical care
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Licensure as a Physicians Assistant in the State of Washington (Physician Assistant)
  • Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges (Nurse Practitioner) or National certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA) (Physician Assistant)
  • ACLS certification
