Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Bush Lake Pet Hospital. As a key partner to our veterinarians, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery, including outpatient exams, patient preparation, and laboratory testing.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • State license to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician in the state of desired employment.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, and ability to calculate medication dosages.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
