Job Title: Precision Machinist Specialist

Location: Faribault, Minnesota

Estimated Salary: $41,458 per year + $2,000 sign on bonus (based on 40 hours/week and 52 weeks/year)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist Specialist to join our team in Faribault, Minnesota. The successful candidate will have experience working with machine tools and production equipment, as well as strong safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate complex machine tools and production equipment to manufacture precision parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA standards and ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Perform various welding techniques, including brazing, gas welding, and electric arc, as required.
  • Inspect and verify tooling according to print specifications, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Provide prompt and efficient support to operating departments in breakdown situations, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment, using problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • Degree or certification in a relevant field, such as tool and diemaker or maintenance machinist.
  • 3-5 years of recent experience in machining and maintenance, with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Certification in three or more welding processes, including brazing, gas welding, and electric arc.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
