About the Job

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at the School District of ROE #9 Champaign-Ford County. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with students to identify and address physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized education plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including sensory integration, fine motor, and adaptive equipment training
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to ensure seamless transition between home and school
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy to continuously improve services

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Occupational Therapy, Requires Illinois State Licensure
  • Experience working with children with special needs preferred

Compensation:$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
