Key Responsibilities: As a Customer Engagement and Sales Associate, you will:
- Build strong relationships with customers by assisting both walk-in and phone inquiries, representing the company with professionalism.
- Efficiently process and distribute customer products.
- Address questions and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Accurately enter sales orders to generate invoices for products to be picked up or delivered, ensuring secure payment processing.
- Assess warranty items and determine their disposition according to manufacturer policies and customer needs.
- Provide estimated delivery dates based on vendor production and delivery schedules.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse operations.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant inside sales experience is preferred.
- The capability to lift 100 pounds using a dolly.
- A strong presence at the counter and the ability to engage directly with customers throughout the day.
- A customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office applications.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing inventory and customer concerns.
- Familiarity with products related to pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
