Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is a leading healthcare staffing agency seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Computed Tomography for a 13-week travel assignment in Washington, D.C.

Job Summary

This position requires a skilled and compassionate professional to work as a CT Technologist in a fast-paced medical setting. As a diagnostic imaging specialist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

  • Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and location.
Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of radiologic principles, techniques, and equipment to provide optimal image quality and patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, advances, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or medical facility setting.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography, as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of radiologic principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
