Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Urology Clinic

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Urology Clinic at Emory Healthcare. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in routine nursing situations under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider. This includes administering medications, performing various semi-skilled nursing responsibilities, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families in routine nursing situations.
  • Administer medications and perform various semi-skilled nursing responsibilities.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures and observe and record patients' conditions and progress.
  • Conduct daily inventory of medical equipment and supplies and maintain exam/treatment rooms per infection control policies.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs and measurements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • Current BLS certification required.
