Exciting Career Opportunity as a Traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist in the Healthcare Systems and Services sector.

Position Overview:

The Advanced Therapies (AT) Interventional Technologist works in collaboration with a variety of medical professionals, including Cardiologists, Cardiovascular Surgeons, Radiologists, Interventional Neurosurgeons, and Vascular Surgeons. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding patient care, maintaining a sterile environment during procedures, and operating advanced Interventional Angiography Systems. Additionally, the position entails overseeing equipment quality control and ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols by the medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with clinical, technical, and administrative tasks on a daily basis.
  • Verify patient details and medical history for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive pre and post-procedural patient care.
  • Prepare and uphold a sterile field in accordance with established standards.
  • Operate Angiography Systems and other procedural equipment effectively.
  • Engage in room turnover, patient transfers, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required Skills:
  • At least 1 year of experience in Interventional Imaging within a clinical environment.
  • Expertise in Invasive Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, and related fields.
  • Familiarity with Angiography Equipment, particularly Siemens ARTIS C-arms.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Imaging techniques.
