Job Summary

ServiceSource is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and reviewing behavior support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Behavioral Management Planning: Collaborate with Person-Centered Partners to develop, implement, and review behavior plans as assigned. Attend planning meetings as needed, working with staff, contractors, and other team members to develop participant behavior plans.
  • Development of Behavioral Intervention Plans: Provide crisis intervention and assistance as needed. Conduct behavioral observations of participants, analyze data, and develop behavior plans through a team process.
  • Behavior Intervention Training: Provide training to staff to ensure proper techniques and skills are utilized. Follow up with staff to ensure behavior plans are implemented as written, and provide consultation as needed.
  • Behavior Intervention Plan Documentation: Analyze behavior data to prepare quarterly reports, reports for Person-Centered plans, and other required reports.
  • Compliance with Regulatory Agencies: Complete all documentation required by Habilitation Services, Licensure, Human Rights, CARF, Medicaid, and other relevant agencies. Attend Local Human Rights Committee meetings and Community Services Boards' Behavior Intervention Committee meetings as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related Human Services field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavior management, and/or therapeutic consultation.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Certified in Positive Behavior Support techniques.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst.
  • Ability to travel locally between assigned ServiceSource sites.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to carry out work with high accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
