Mammographer PRN

We are seeking a skilled Mammographer PRN to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

As a Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex breast imaging and examinations. You will instruct patients in breast self-examinations and address any questions or concerns they may have. You will also demonstrate competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS.

• Perform routine and complex breast imaging and examinations
• Instruct patients in breast self-examinations and address any questions or concerns
• Demonstrate competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS
• Assist with the development, optimization, and implementation of protocols to enhance image quality
• Perform quality control functions daily, including MQSA Quality Control functions for mammography
• Perform other procedures assigned, including stereotactic BX, needle locs, and bone density studies

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M registered
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
