**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States since 1990.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of nuclear regulations and have the ability to interpret complex technical instructions. This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys staying up-to-date on new regulatory developments and has experience managing direct reports.

**Responsibilities**

  • Directs and develops content and format for licensing and permitting submissions and amendments to relevant authorities
  • Coordinates with senior management to advise on licensing strategy, potential areas of concern, and new government/regulatory developments
  • Manages all licensing and permitting activities, processes, and initiatives

**Requirements**

  • Demonstrated experience in solving complex regulatory issues
  • Experience in licensing and permitting, and/or operations involving the storage of Spent Nuclear Fuel
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Knowledge of Database software; Development software; Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
