Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic retail environment and develop your skills in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services, including patient counseling and other health services.
  • Process prescriptions, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Current student enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy program.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills so they can fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.
