Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in the patient experience, from pre-procedure to post-procedure. You will assist physicians, execute preparation of instruments and equipment, and communicate treatment plans with medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and medical staff in the operating room
  • Prepare instruments, equipment, and operating room for procedures
  • Communicate treatment plans and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling of drugs and tumescent solutions
  • Clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments
  • Assist in discharging patients and scheduling follow-up appointments
  • Audit patient records and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve and interpret instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office, including Excel
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for periods of time
