Key Responsibilities- Streamline the process of ensuring access to prescribed medications for patients with unique healthcare needs.
- Assist in all areas of clinical operations, including benefits investigation, prior authorization, copay/foundation assistance, onboarding new patients, delivery coordination, drug replacement services, and telephonic outreach for prescription refills.
- Proactively track patient refills coming due and propose orders to providers as needed.
- Research options for copay/foundation assistance, drug replacement services, and patient financial counseling, and facilitate enrollment and connection to available resources.
- Perform patient onboarding, benefits investigation, order entry, and delivery coordination activities.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3-4 years Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy required.
- 1-2 years Customer service or equivalent experience preferred.
- PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification required.
- Pharmacy Technician licensure or registration as required by the state in which the pharmacy is located required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
