About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our internal and external facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Support: Assist in setting up and striking rooms with equipment, including tables, chairs, staging, and other event-related items.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized environment by removing refuse, cleaning floors and equipment, and performing other janitorial duties as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain various equipment, including forklifts, floor scrubbers, and other machinery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Set-Up and Housekeeping Manager/Assistant Manager to review work assignments and Building Equipment Orders (BEOs).
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in janitorial maintenance or a related field.
  • Cleaning Knowledge: Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and working knowledge of cleaning equipment.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail, customer service focus, and superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
