Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC Technician

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC Technician to join our team at TEMCO, Inc.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and troubleshooting skills, as well as exceptional customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect equipment and related components for safe operation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff regarding repair statuses, maintaining schedule adherence and addressing any delays.
- Complete service tickets in accordance with company procedures.
- Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are readily available.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards.
- Serve as a positive role model for less experienced technicians and promote company values.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Dependable, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in standard computer applications.
- Ownership of industry-standard hand tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation (frequency varies).
- Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new techniques and approaches.
- Previous experience as a commercial foodservice technician is preferred.
The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
