About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a passion for cardiac care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiac conditions, including coronary artery bypass, heart transplantation, and vascular surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Contribute to the education and training of nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in Maryland or a compact state
  • At least 1 year of experience in acute care nursing, preferably in a cardiac or critical care setting
  • BSN or MSN degree, with a commitment to pursuing a higher degree within 5 years
