Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Aborn Pet Hospital in Fremont, California. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgical assisting, blood draws, and radiology
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including proper animal handling and restraint
  • Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
  • Assist with laboratory skills, such as ear and fecal cytology, HM5, Vetscan, and Sedivue
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide education on animal care and health

Requirements
  • 2+ years of veterinary experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
